The only viable road route from Delhi to Kasol is via Chandigarh, Mandi, and Kullu (540–560 km, 12–14 hrs). Road conditions are mixed in the mountains, with risks during monsoon. Ideal for self-drive with proper planning, preferably over two days.
Nearest Airport: Bhuntar Airport (also known as Kullu–Manali Airport), located approximately 31 km from Kasol.
Travel from Bhuntar Airport to Kasol:
From Bhuntar Airport, hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach Kasol. The drive takes about 1 to 1.5 hours via NH3 and the Manali–Manikaran Road. The route passes through scenic hillside terrain along the Parvati River, with accessible stops at Manikaran and other villages. Private taxis and shared cabs are readily available outside the airport terminal.
